Self Assessment tax returns
Whether you're self-employed, a company director, a landlord or just have income HMRC wants to know about, we prepare and file your Self Assessment accurately - and make sure you never pay more than you owe.
The Self Assessment deadline (31 January) has a way of creeping up. Get it wrong or file late and HMRC hits you with a £100 penalty straight away, then daily charges after three months.
TaxMag takes the stress out of it completely. We gather your income and expenses, claim every allowance and relief you’re entitled to, tell you exactly what to pay and when, and file your return with HMRC - often with a lower bill than you expected.

Self Assessment - your questions
When is my Self Assessment due?
Online returns and any tax owed are due by 31 January following the end of the tax year (5 April). We aim to get yours done long before then so you can budget for the bill.
How much can you save me?
It depends on your situation, but people who file their own returns often miss allowable expenses, the trading allowance, pension relief or the correct treatment of dividends. We routinely find deductions that more than cover our fee.
I haven’t filed for a previous year - can you help?
Yes. We can prepare late returns, deal with HMRC on your behalf and, where possible, help reduce penalties. The sooner we act, the better the outcome.
Do I need to register for Self Assessment?
If you’re newly self-employed, a new landlord or have new untaxed income, you likely do - and there are deadlines for registering too. We’ll sort it as part of onboarding.
Get your tax return off your plate
